Abstract

The 2016-2019 ICOMOS World Report on Monuments and Sites in Danger (Heritage at Risk) is the latest volume
of global reports introduced in 2000. It consists of contributions from 23 countries, including national and
international reports from ICOMOS Scientific Committees and individual experts. The report is divided into seven
sub-issues: Natural and Anthropogenic Impact on Cultural Heritage; War and Interethnic Conflicts; Development
Pressure; Tourism Impact; Lack of use and Maintenance; Threats to Urban Districts; and Focus on 20th century
Heritage.
